Delivery story 83 Tracy writes: I have been in this racket for 14 years and while working for Domino's in Honolulu, Hawaii, I delivered an order of soda, wings and a pizza to a high rise condo. This particular building has security on duty and the guard let me in. I get to the 34th floor, knock on the door and lo and behold, a very tall guy answers the door, dressed only in bunny ears and a furry thong! I almost lost it totally and tried so hard not to crack up. The guy stuttered out an explanation that he was expecting his girlfriend to get there before I arrived! The poor guy! Apparently our phone kid didn't realize it would only take me about 6 minutes to drive there and quoted a longer delivery time than normal. The poor embarrased customer tipped well and I hightailed it out of there, laughing as soon as I got to the safety of my car! My manager and co-workers thought it was the funniest thing ever and I admit it was a little odd seeing a guy dressed this way in what is a building with lots of professional people living in it! The tip? $10.00 and I don't think he ordered again. My husband also delivers pizza and complains that the only *cool* things he ever sees is the girls hanging out at the beach but none have been topless or naked for him. This was not the first near naked or naked person I have seen but it sure was the wildest and it was lots better than the 70+ year old man in Tampa, Florida who used to come to the door in Speedo's and each time would try and cover himself with the door when he realized I wasn't a "pizza guy!"
