Delivery story 54 Arron writes: I delivered at a Pizza Hut in Manitoba, Canada on and off for about fiveyears. This was something that happened to me that I think was truly unique. I had a delivery to one of the nicer hotels in the city. Room 110. As Iwalked down the hall toward the room there was a guy doing the usual, "Hey,it's my pizza. My free pizza is here. Give me my free pizza. My pizza,blah, blah, blah." I got to room 110 (which wasn't yappy guy's room) and gavethe pizza to the customer. This guy from across the hall in room 109 wasstill going on about "his" pizza, "give me my pizza," and blah, blah, blah while kind'adrunk. I finished the transaction with room 110 and began to leave. The annoying guywas still talking. I turned to him and politely said, "You're not funny," andcontinued to walk. He yelled, "Hypocrite." Confused, I stopped and asked him what he meant. He yelled something in French (nobody in this town speaks French) and walked in his room and closed the door. No big deal so far. Back at the restaurant I see another delivery has just been ordered tothat very room. Room 109. When I got there, I saw three or four guys and a coupleof girls in the room. The annoying drunk guy jumped up when he saw it was me.He paid for the two medium pizzas, tipped me a couple of bucks, pointed out thefact that he tipped me and wasn't cheap, and started to lecture me about my manners.He was a hand-talker, I guess, because he placed both pizzas on the floor sohe could wave his arms around. It was kind'a funny and I didn't feel like Iwas in any real danger so I talked to him for a while. As he was lecturing me I said to him, "Be careful of your pizzas on the floor." He looked at me andsaid, "I didn't even want the pizzas. I just wanted to talk to you aboutyour attitude," and then he stomped on them as hard as he could. Right onhis pizzas. To prove something to me? At this point his buddies who werelistening behind him got really pissed at him and I left. Funniest thingI've seen in a while. return to top
