I work for a Domino's Pizza in Jefferson City, TN. This happened just the other day.
I came into work one day and there was a delivery sitting on the heat rack. I believe it had been there for maybe 10, 20 minutes or so. The address was WAY out of our delivery area, all the way in West Morristown. Well, West Morristown has a Domino's store. So I don't know why we even took this order. All I know is they couldn't call the lady back. And the manager would rather sell the pizza than have the order transferred and the food wasted, since it was already made.
Well, I was told to take it. According to my GPS the address was 10 miles away. 20 miles there and back. I get to the address (finally) and when the customer opens the door I'm greeted with the rudest, ugliest, crack whore looking lady I have ever seen in my life.
She proceeds to yell at me about how the pizza was an hour late. I tell her she should have called the Domino's in West Morristown but she doesn't listen. She continues to yell and scream. And leaves me with just 10 cents shy of a $2 tip. Normally I won't complain much about $2 but for a 20 mile run? Hell no. Finally I make it back and the manager puts a note on her phone number to refuse her order and make her call Domino's in West Morristown.
