Delivery story 460

Brauss writes:

I took a delivery to the receptionists at a nearby hospital and to this day they were the cheapest customers I have ever had. The first words out of their mouths were them complaining about paying sales tax "because this is a hospital." Yes, but a for-profit one. Then they said that despite being charged sales tax they would order from my employer more often if it it wasn't for the delivery charge (which obviously had me grinding my teeth especially since I worked for tips) and then finally I gave them the total: 22 dollars and change. I was handed 22 bucks and then she looked at me and said, "I suppose you want the change too, huh?" Finally a guy from the end of the reception desk walked up, gave me an apologetic look, handed me four bucks and said, "Have a nice day," so at least I got a happy ending out of it.
