Delivery story 455 RobertTheHut writes: I worked at a Pizza Hut in Fort Collins, CO in college. One time I delivered to an apartment. After knocking a few times, a girl in her mid 20's finally answered the door in a robe. She has the money for the pizza in one hand, and was transferring over 1's for a tip from the other hand. As she was counting out my tip, from the other room a male voice said, "Honey, hurry up it's getting soft!" The girl immediately turned bright red, handed me ALL the ones and slammed the door. I thought to myself...hope they are eating ice cream. Wasn't sure if he was for real, or if he was a prankster. But either way it was pretty funny. Had a guy answer the door. I handed him his large pizza and quepapas. He took them and threw them down on the ground in a rage in the doorway. The quepapas box opened and they flew everywhere. The pizza was no doubt all over the inside of the box in a heap. I stood there stunned, and asked if everything was okay. In my head I'm wondering if I did something wrong. Was he mad that I walked through his grass? He mumbled something and handed me a $20 dollar tip. I walked away very confused.
