Delivery story 397 Floridagirl writes: I work at a pizza place here in Ocala, Florida and it gets really annoying when the customer is not at home when the pizza gets there. I had an order to a customer and when I got to the house I rang the doorbell. No answer. I knock on the door. No answer. I call the phone number on the ticket. No answer. I called the store to have them call the customer because my cell phone comes up as "FLORIDA CALL" in the caller ID. No answer. I take the order back and go on the next delivery. About an hour later the customer calls back wanting to know where their pizza was. One of the phone girls took the call and then gave it to the shift runner and she said that the driver was there and that no one answered the door. The customer stated that he was home the whole time and that no driver ever came. She then gave the phone to me and I told him that I was there and he said that I was not. I asked him if he had a white truck in the driveway and a fake tree in the front window and he said yes. I asked him how would I know about those things if I was never there. I took the same order (not a remake) back out to him and he wanted it for free. I told him no and that he had to pay full price or I would take the food back. He paid and of course NO TIP!! Dumb f@%$ing a$$@ole jerk!!!
