Delivery story 379

Ronnie Danzig writes:

This is not my story, but one I feel the need to share. I work at a Papa John's in central North Carolina. On a Thursday night, one of our drivers was on a run to an apartment complex immediately behind the store. The driver is a middle aged Chinese man, completely harmless and benign. He does research for a local college when he's not delivering pizzas. He went to the apartment complex. No specific apartment number was given. Just the building number and side of the building (like 817-A, 817-B, etc.) He got out of his car and was jumped by several thugs. Severely beaten and kicked, they took his wallet, whatever store cash he had on him and the pizzas. He was left in basically a pool of blood. Needless to say, he was in critical condition from the moment he was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. He still is, but he's certainly improving.

The economy is getting really bad folks. People are getting more violent with less of a reason for it.
