Delivery story 355

This one did not happen to me. One of my friends and a shift driver at the Papa John's I used to work at got a 50 buck tip.

He took a single pie order and got there reasonably quick. This was during the Valentine's Day ice storm of '07. This was one of the legendary storms I have delivered in as well. The other one being the blizzard of 2003.

The customer was a nice older paraplegic man who had a dog. The man asked him if he could help him with two things. He asked the driver to get his mail (which consisted of one package from the mailbox bolted next to the front door) and feed his dog which consisted of slicing up a raw hot dog. About a minute's worth of work to help a disabled person for 50 dollars is what I would call pizza delivery karma.
