I work for Papa John's in the Indy area. I've worked a few stores in the area in my time.
I hate the local Best Buy, and here's why. One Saturday, a few months back, one of the managers called and ordered a couple pizzas from us. One of the lady managers. I should have seen what was coming when the manager told me she asked for the "Papa John's hotty" discount.
We made her pizzas, I bagged up some plates (a MUST for all businesses) along with her Cokes and got them to her in less than 15 minutes. She just so happened to call at a good time, in between big orders. And, of course, she just signs the credit card slip and hands it back. I politely tell her that we need the total line filled in (since other stores had been having problems with drivers filling it in themselves) which she does... with the order total. I sigh, think, "C'est la vie," and skedaddle back to the store, hoping to get back before the other driver.
I got back and the manager was on the phone, which is usually a good sign but not this time. Turns out, he's on the horn with Best Buy. She wanted to call and thank us for the wonderful service, and that she was glad I could get it there so quickly. Lady, if you were THAT happy, why the HECK didn't you tip your driver?!
