Delivery story 230

Pizza girl writes:

I had a delivery right at closing time. It was a very long distance run on the lake in Austin's upscale.

The customer gave the wrong address. I called the customer. They were actually on a different street than what they said. I hung up and followed the directions they gave me. I went to a dead end on the lake.

Next thing I know, the ground under my car is breaking. My car starts to tumble down the cliff toward the lake. I was lucky as my car slammed a rock within inches of the water and stopped. I had fallen on the side of a boat ramp. The front of my car was sticking straight up in the air and the trunk on the ground.

I got out of the car and called work.

Then I called the customer and told him my car was wrecked. The old man started to scream. He screamed, "I don't care if you're DEAD. You get my f-cki-g food here NOW! What kind of service is this! YOU call your f-ck-ng manager NOW and tell him to get here with my pizza, NOW!! I don't care what YOU have to do but you better get my fuc-ing pizza here NOW."

I hung up. I was in shock and couldn't believe what I had heard. This old man didn't even know his own address.

Six tow trucks came in the wee hours of the morning with no luck getting my car out. One finally did. My job refused to pay the tow truck fee after I asked them.

It amazes me how animalistic some people can be when it becomes feeding time.
