Delivery story 226

Barbender writes:

I own a small franchise here in a well-off part of the Salt Lake Valley in Utah.

I went on this delivery to an upscale house, and knocked on the door. The door opened about an inch and the guy asked who I was. I said, "Five Buck Pizza." He then pushed a rolled up amount of money through the opening and told me in his course raspy voice to put the pizza on the ground, turn around and leave.

I went to my car and looked back at the door and out comes what looks like "Thing" from the Addams Family. I am sure the guy was laying on his belly reaching out the door for his pizza. I had a couple of thoughts go through my head. The first was, "Dude, you're a freak," and next, "If you have such a phobia how in the h*ll can you afford this house."
