Delivery story 19 A.J. writes: I've only been delivering for a short time but I never knew there were so many cheap people in the world. If you can afford to order a pizza, you can afford at least a buck for the driver. Anyway, I had to deliver an order to a trailer park one night (yeah, the dreaded trailer park.) I got there and a woman answers the door and tells me her son ordered the pizza and she had sent him to the corner store for some smokes. Well, the store was only about a mile away, so me being new at this, I was nice and said, "Okay, he should be right back." Well, then I find out he had walked to the store. She's getting worried because she says he should've been back by now, so she goes back in and gets dressed (she had been in her pjs.) She asked me again if I can wait and proceeds to start walking in the direction of the store. Being a mother myself, I felt sorry for her and told her to get in and I would drive her. About that time, the son comes walking up and she gets out. He pays for his pizza and you guessed it -- no tip!!!!!! He even waited for the coin change.
