Delivery story 174 Sparkles writes: This isn't a story that happened to me, but it happened to a co-worker of mine. This girl worked one job during the day and delivered pizzas at night to pay for school. I knew her from the daytime job and she was a very soft-hearted and sensitive kind of person. She was always telling me stories about people she delivered to. One night she had a delivery for someone working at a convenience store. She walked in, and the guy who ordered the pizza was watching TV very intently. It was during the time when the videos of the political prisoners being beheaded were being broadcast, and she just happened to walk in right as the video was being shown. Now, this girl was the type who couldn't stand to even think about this sort of thing, much less want to watch it happen. She tried to interrupt the guy so he could pay for his pizza so that she could leave, but he kept telling her to "hold on." She couldn't leave without her money, and there was no place else to go, so she had to stand there while the guy who ordered stood staring at the TV. She finally had to turn around so that she couldn't see the TV, but she could hear what was going on. She said she heard the guy get his head chopped off and she almost threw up all over the place. She was practically in tears by the time the guy turned around and paid for his food.
