Delivery story 169

I used to work at a Domino's pizza in Dumont, NJ while in high school back in 1992. I was out on a delivery around 10 PM delivering to a house in a pretty good neighborhood in a nearby town. I rang the doorbell and waited at least two or three minutes. I could hear people inside so I peaked a little through one of the windows on the front porch and I could see some people inside, so I started knocking pretty loudly on the door and I took another peak while knocking on the window this time. And as I'm looking through the window a gun on a table catches my eye and then a few more guns on a larger dining room table and large amounts of cash and what appeared to be cocaine. HOLY S#!T!!!! Now I was scared that someone was going to come to the door and f-ing kill me so I ran back down to my car and took off back to the pizza shop. It was then I realized I was at the wrong house.

I told my manager and he wanted to call the cops. I begged him not to, for fear that somehow the people at the house might find out who ratted them out and hunt me down. He called the cops and the cops had to take a statement from me over the phone. To make things worse, I still had to deliver the damn pizza to the correct house which was right next door to the drug/gun house. Oh yeah, I was scared s#!tless. I quit the next week.
